Welcome to Vanilla Bloom (also referred to as We, Us, this Website or vanillabloom.co.nz).  This Website is owned and operated by Vanilla Bloom Limited.  If you have any questions in relation to these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy please email our Customer Care team.   By accessing or using the Vanilla Bloom Website you are acknowledging that you have read, understand and agree to these Terms of Use and as well as our Privacy Policy

Vanilla Bloom reserves the right to refuse service to you and/or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms of Use.

The prices shown on this Website are in New Zealand dollars, including GST, but are exclusive of delivery charges. Prices are subject to change without notice.

We have taken great care in  preparing the content of this Website, especially to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices are correct at the time of publishing. Sometimes errors can occur, they will however be verified as part of the dispatch process.  If a product's correct price is lower than the published price, you will  be charged that lower price, and sent the product/s. If a product's correct price is higher than the published price, you will be advised accordingly and given the opportunity to reorder at the correct price.

We do our best to ensure that all information, descriptions, ingredient listings, photographs and prices that appear on this Website are correct.  All information is provided in good faith but the information on this Website may not always reflect the product exactly at the moment you place an order. Ingredient details on the Website are provided to vanillabloom.co.nz by our  manufacturers or their agents and We do not accept responsibility for any omissions or errors in this information.

We have also made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colour of the products that appear on the Website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your personal computer equipment, We cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the goods upon delivery.

 All products are subject to availability.  We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.  Product information and availability is subject to change without notice.


Online Orders

When you order online you will be assisted through the checkout process on the Website.  During that process you can review, confirm or correct your order prior to finally submitting it.  You will then be sent an email acknowledging the details and value of your order, which has been charged to your credit card.  If We are unable to fulfil your order following this acknowledgement, We will contact you via email.  Our acceptance of your order will take place when payment in full has been made by you and received by Us. Please note that We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.  

Where we are unable to supply your full order you will be notified and your payment will be refunded up to a maximum value of those products that are not supplied. This includes sale, clearance and promotional items where stock is limited or no longer available. 

You may not sell any products you purchase from Vanilla Bloom, including any samples you may receive.  We reserve the right to cancel your order if We suspect fraudulent activity or violation by you of the Terms of Use of this Website (including our Privacy Policy ).

Once your order has been placed you are unable to change or cancel it as the order process commences immediately and cannot be interrupted.

If you require a GST invoice or any further information concerning your order please contact Customer Care detailing your order number.


Gift Cards

Gift Cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Gift cards are unable to be returned for cash or exchange.  There is no expiry date, so the recipient is welcome to use it at their leisure.   We reserve the right to refuse to honour any Gift Card in the event of a disputed credit card charge, uncleared payment or other failure of consideration.  The value of any lost, damaged or stolen Gift Card will not be reissued, however if the balance is unused the initial Gift Card may be resent, at Our discretion, to the original email address that the Gift Card was initially sent to.  We reserve the right to refuse to honour any Gift Card we suspect has been obtained fraudulently.


Personal Information

In order to use some of the features of this Website or to make a purchase you will be required to register and provide personal information including but not limited to your name, telephone number, postal address and email details.  By submitting your details on this Website you agree that the personal information you provide is true and accurate.  For more information about the use of your personal information please see the Vanilla Bloom Privacy Policy .  You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password and will not impersonate any other person or entity or use a false name you are not authorised to use. You can cancel your account at any time. 



Payment for purchases from Vanilla Bloom is via credit card, Paypal, direct bank credit or PartPay (Pay in Installments).  All credit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your credit card  does not authorise payment to Us, We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of goods. For security reasons your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment.  Payment is also able to be made via PartPay, which allows you to pay for orders between $50 and $400 in installments. There are no fees for using this service, unless you do not make your payments. You can find out more information about PartPay via their website: https://partpay.co.nz/faq/. By choosing this payment method you are agreeing to their Terms and Conditions. Please note that PartPay is only available on New Zealand orders.

Vanilla Bloom retains the legal ownership of all goods until payment in full has been made by you and received by Us – after which your order will be dispatched.  Legal and equitable ownership of the goods will immediately transfer back to Us if We refund any payment for the goods  to you. Risk in the goods transfers to you upon delivery.


Delivery & Shipping

Delivery timelines to your address are indicative only. Most orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days, however during times of extra demand dispatch may take longer.  We will advise you asap if this is the case.  Please see FAQ for specifics around delivery and shipping.  

Currently we only dispatch orders to New Zealand and Australia.  You will be sent a dispatch notice when your order has been shipped.  While we use only reputable delivery companies we do not accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party.

Within New Zealand: - to ensure your products arrive to you in premium condition and for security reasons all parcels must be signed for on receipt. If you are not going to be home during normal office hours you can provide us with an alternative delivery address where someone will be available to sign for your parcel, otherwise a courier card will be left for you to organise a redelivery free of charge.  Where authority to leave is requested by the receipient, we do not accept responsibility for orders that are damaged, stolen or lost once they have been delivered. 

To Australia: While your delivery while is trackable, this is a non-signature required service.  Therefore we do not accept responsibility for orders that are damaged, stolen or lost once they have been delivered. 


Freight Charges

Within New Zealand: Freight charges are based on the total value of your order.  We offer FREE shipping for orders NZ$59.00 and over.  Orders less than NZ$59.00 will be charged a flat rate of $4.50 per order.  Orders to one address may be delivered in one or more deliveries.

To Australia: Freight charges are based on the total value of your order.  We offer FREE shipping for orders NZ$150.00 and over.  Orders less than NZ$150.00 will be charged a flat rate of $20.00 per order.  Orders to one address may be delivered in one or more deliveries. We use  NZ Post EasyTrack for all international deliveries. Please allow 1-3 working days for your order to be processed and dispatched then 3-10 working days for delivery. Please note items such as nail polish & spray deodorants are not currently able to be sent outside New Zealand.  Please see the product details before you order as this is highlighted on the relevant product pages. 



We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase from Vanilla Bloom.  If however you change your mind or no longer want a product you have ordered you can return the product you ordered within 14 days of delivery in an unused and saleable condition.  Please refer to our Returns Policy for more detail. Please contact Customer Care prior to returning your goods.

* Please note: Sale, clearance, promotional items and products that have been opened are unable to be returned other than as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act. 

Returns Policy

If you are unhappy with any of your purchases you may return them unopened and in a saleable state within 14 days of receipt for a a store credit, wrapped securely in the same or similar outer packaging in which you received them. We will process your return as quickly as possible once the returned goods have been received, inspected and processed and will notify you by email once your credit has been processed. During busy periods, please allow a maximum of 10 working days for your refund or credit to be processed once we have received your return. Returns will not be accepted after 14 days of delivery to you. Shipping charges are not refunded or credited.  Where a refund has been agreed with Vanilla Bloom in advance of your returning your product, it will be issued using the same payment method used when ordering. 

Should you have any questions about the status of your return, your refund, or need instructions on how to return an item, please contact Customer Care.

The colour is different to what you expected or to what it looks like on your screen: We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colour of the products that appear on this Website.   However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your personal computer equipment, We cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the goods on delivery. If however you are dissatisfied with the colour of the product you have received you are able to return your product under the terms of the Returns Policy detailed above.

The product you received is not what you ordered: We are happy to replace the product with what you ordered, provide you with a credit or offer you a full refund.  To organise the return please contact Customer Care prior to returning your goods and within 14 days of delivery.  

The product you ordered was damaged in transit: If your product arrives damaged, please contact Customer Care immediately.  We may offer you a replacement product, credit or full refund depending on the situation. Once the damage has been verified your return will be processed.  Please note: while we use only reputable delivery companies our liability is limited to the value of the damaged product, and does not cover any further liability incurred as a result of third party damage. To organise the return please contact Customer Care prior to returning your goods and within 14 days of delivery.  

The product you ordered did not arrive: Your parcel may be considered missing if it fails to arrive 5 working days after your order dispatch notification email.  If your order has not arrived after that time, please contact Customer Care to request a track and trace.

Please note that we cannot accept returns for orders that are damaged or missing in transit. In the event we receive a damaged item we will contact you.


Competitions and product giveaways.

a) Entries must be received within the timeframe specified and meet the criteria set for that and each individual competition and/or giveaway.  b) We will determine the winner(s) at our sole discretion. c) We will attempt to notify winner(s). If the Competition is run via a social media channel, we will attempt to notify the winner(s) by a message or comment on the social media channel concerned. If we are unable to reach the winner(s) within 7 days, we reserve the right to nominate a new winner.  d) By entering a Competition/Giveaway, entrants: i. grant Vanilla Bloom Natural Beauty Boutique permission to use their name(s) and hometown in winner announcement posts and/or notifications, as well as the unrestricted right to use (anywhere in the world and in any medium) any images submitted by entrants as part of the Competition; and ii. agree that We will not be liable in any way whatsoever, in relation to the use of their name, social media profile and/or any images submitted as part of the Competition. e) Any prizes offered as part of a Competition/Giveaway will be as described by Us. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. In the event that the prize specified in the Competition/Giveaway becomes unavailable for any reason, a substitute prize of similar value will be provided. Winners receive prizes entirely at their own risk.  f) By entering a Competition/Giveaway, entrants acknowledge that the Competition/Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform (including Facebook and/or Instagram).  g) We reserve the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue a Competition/Giveaway at any stage, for any reason.  h) Employees or contractors to Us are not eligible to enter Competitions/Giveaways or win prizes.  i) Entry to a Competition/Giveaway is only open to New Zealand or Australian residents aged 18 years or over. j) To the full extent permitted by the law We will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsover (whether direct or indirect) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any prize or damage to any prize in transit. k) By entering a Competition/Giveaway you will be subscribed to the Vanilla Bloom database where you will receive email newsletters from time to time.  You are able to unsubscribe at any time.  l) By entering a Competition/Giveaway all entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions apply to all competitions and promotions run by Us, or on our behalf, including those undertaken via any social media channel (each a Competition). These terms do not apply, and we accept no responsibility for, competitions and promotions run by or on behalf of any party other than Us (regardless of whether our products are part of the competition or promotion).

The $100 giveaway draw upon signing up to the Vanilla Bloom database will run from 1st of May 2017 until the 31st of May 2017.  It will then repeat monthly until otherwise notified.  Each person who joins the database on a particular month will be eligible for that month's draw - and only that month.  The winner will be notified via email during the first week of the month following the draw. The prize is a $100 Vanilla Bloom gift card.  Gift card conditions apply. 



Please inspect the goods you receive in full upon receipt and check that everything specified on the delivery note is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods if you do not notify Customer Care within 3 work days of receipt of delivery that there is a problem.  If you fail to take such action, We are not obligated to accept any returns by you after this period, other than as deemed necessary under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any act in substitution.


Intellectual Property

All content included on this Website such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images and software is the property of Vanilla Bloom Ltd, or its content suppliers, and is protected by New Zealand copyright laws. The content of the Site may not be used, reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, accessed, modified, or otherwise exploited, in whole or in part, for any purpose without our prior written consent.


Media & Endorsements

Vanilla Bloom does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any endorsements in Media articles displayed on this website. All articles have been reproduced as they were originally printed.  Any false claims or endorsements are the responsibility of the original publisher.


Medical Liability

Any information provided on this Website including information related to wellbeing and health is provided in good faith and should not be taken as being prescriptive. Vanilla Bloom does not accept responsibility for any injury or illness caused by you failing to take proper medical advice or not following instructions properly. You are responsible for ensuring that the products you select are suitable for you and this includes avoiding products that include ingredients you are intolerant, sensitive, allergic or may react to. Vanilla Bloom does not give any answers to medical related questions. 


Warranties, Guarantees and Limitation of Liability

  • Vanilla Bloom disclaims all warranties, representations, and guarantees with respect to any product or any information supplied including but not limited to availability, accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Vanilla Bloom’s liability to you as the buyer for any loss, damage, or injury arising from any defect in, or non-compliance of, a product supplied shall be limited to the price paid by you for that product.
  • Vanilla Bloom will not be liable for any loss of profits, or any indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic loss or damage (howsoever caused), which you may directly or indirectly suffer in connection with your access to, or reliance upon any product, information or use of this Website and related interactive services.

We reserve the right to change or modify our Terms of Use without notice.
